Model A Touring Club members from all over the US and Canada congregated today (Sept. 24, 2019) in Milwaukee, WI, for the start of the Great Lakes Tour.
This first day was relaxed and people who didn’t come in the night before gradually joined us. Check out the cars in the hotel parking lot:
By dinner time, it looks like everyone had arrived. In keeping with the German influence here in Milwaukee, Marcus and Mary (our tour leaders) chose a fun, German restaurant:
And Marcus handed out “goody bags” for everyone. The bags included our tour book with daily activities, a lap blanket, and a emergency flashing triangle – just in case:
Tomorrow is a full day and it promises to be more fun.

Is there any chance you can send me an itinerary of the Great Lakes trio my niece and my sister-in-law; one lives on the very eastern border of Wisconsin at the top of Lake Michigan and my niece lives about 5 miles to the east of her on the very top of Lake Michigan and I’m sure they would love to come to see all of the vehicles so let me know please!! Safe journey to Terri, Jay, and you!!❤️
