Well, on September 12th, we crossed from Montana into Canada.  We’re not allowed to take photos of the border crossing, so here’s the best I could do.

I’m not sure what the significance of the rocks on legs might be, but there were two of them…

We all met in Canal Flats (British Columbia) for lunch.

After lunch, we took a few minutes for photos along the road.

After the day’s total of about 216 miles, we reached our evening destination – Radium, British Columbia. These pix show 1)  Bob & Marilynn (who just joined the tour this side of the border), our cars and trouble trailer in the hotel parking lot, and the view from the hotel dining room.

On September 13th, Terri, Bev and I did laundry and checked out some of the local wildlife examples (female Big Horn Sheep) which are not at all afraid of the traffic – even at the huge round about!

While we finished the laundry, some of the group managed to organize an impromptu tour of the local lumber mill.

And here’s the local ice cream shop, named Screamers, which has a cute mural of people screaming for ice cream).

We finished off the day with a party in our room to celebrate our 58th anniversary.  Tons of photos, so I’ll send those in a separate post.  Stay tuned…

  2. What an accomplishment —— appreciate the ‘Screamers’ ice-cream shop. Continue your adventure and know I really enjoy all the photos — it allows me to take a trip and not leave my comfortable chair. THX Wilma
